I’m a bit of a World of Warcraft fiend. A while ago I started playing again after a few months hiatus. With the new expansion I pre-ordered Wrath of the Lich King at Wehkamp.nl. 22 euro’s a piece instead of 30 to 34 euro’s. Should have known that there was a catch. A few days after ordering I checked the time of arrival, 4 WEEKS instead of just 1 week.

BF called Wehkamp to cancel the order. They told us it would arrive within the week regardless of what the website said. Now one week later I receive an e-mail saying that _unfortunately_ delivery is in 3 weeks time. Couldn’t they tell me this when we tried to cancel our order in the first place??

Will try to cancel again. Hope we can still get it at Mediamarkt.

I tried this recipe before. I thought it was a bit bland, but I did make my own twist to it. Like I don’t use coriander/cilantro because it’s the herb from hell. Also winged it a bit on the spices, because I don’t have em all.

Then yesterday I saw another recipe on Indian Food Made Easy. So now I tried my own version with some plain flour added and yoghurt. At the time when I made this, the recipe wasn’t yet published. I’ll try the one on the BBC site next time.

My version has:

• 200 gr gram flour
• 100 gr plain flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• about a cup of yoghurt
• 1 spring onion
• paprika powder
• curry powder
• pinch of salt
• couple of turns of pepper
• some water

Mix the dry ingrediënts without the onion, add yoghurt and water, till you get a batter that is not too thin (wetter than bread dough, dryer than pancake batter). Add onions. For frying I used a small saucepan with about 5cm of oil. Heat till about 170/180C and fry spoonfuls of batter for about 3 minutes.

I like to eat it with some chili sauce.

My sweet boyfriend had these made for my birthday by his fab collegue. Ubercute crochet critters by Danidou. Which I could make these myself. I’m bubbling with ideas. First one would be an octopus!

Food, I love it. Haven’t really made anything interesting lately, but I wanted to give this catagory a start. Inspired by some online surfing I got the munchies for a grilled cheese sandwich.

I used white bread, pesto, some sliced tomato and mozzarella. Don’t have a toaster so I baked these in a pan which is even more fatty and yummy. Made two which was a bit much, but nice nevertheless.

A couple of months ago I quit my steady job designing erotic portals in The Hague and ventured going on my own again. My job was fine, but started to get a bit monotonous. I wanted to create more diverse websites and try to develope myself more as a designer.

I finally got my new design online for Peejeej.com and started working on my personal blog for all things related and non-related including my passion for reading, pets and cooking/eating.

For the Peejeej.com design I wanted something to showcase my design skills and keep a bit of personality. And I got use one of my favourite “older” vector graphics.

The Zombelina design came very naturally. I wanted to create a darker version of myself. The horror aspect ofcourse to go with it. Patchy zombie skin, ripped lips, the little robot icon not so cheerful anymore. And ofcourse some goo .

Feeling pretty awful today, my stomach is doing turns and my belly is crampy. Hope it wont get worse.
